Czemu wszyscy robią rebranding?

Together with Gosia and Tomek they decided that “if we know the subject, we should speak up”. Each of them described rebranding from their own perspective. So whose perspectives will you hear?

🔸 Wiktoria — brand strategist

🔸 Gosia — UX/UI designer

🔸 Tomasz — graphic designer

🔸 Wiktoria Budziar says this:

A rebrand usually comes with a strategy. Anyone can change the look of their graphics, pick new fonts and rework a logo. Anyone can also write a new business and communication strategy. My feeling, though, is that the second one sometimes goes unnoticed unless you talk about it.

So… what does a rebrand give us in the context of strategy?

✔️ A rebrand is visible, and it will be far more visible once you talk about it.

✔️ Talking about it in the context of strategy draws attention to a new way of running the company or serving customers.

✔️ The strategy becomes visible when the brand’s presentation changes along with it.

The conclusion? Strategy plus rebrand is an inseparable pairing that gives each side of the equation its meaning.

🔸 To which Gosia Tuszyńska replies:

Rebranding is, and has long been, a common business strategy, driven by the dynamic changes in the world around us. Companies in every industry try to keep up, responding to new trends, technologies and customer expectations. A rebrand lets you refresh your image, adapt to a new reality and stay competitive. As a UX/UI designer focused primarily on visual design, I also see a rebrand as a chance to improve interfaces and user experiences. It is an excellent opportunity to make products and services more legible and more appealing. At the same time a rebrand can help companies increase recognition, stand out in the market and adapt to changing values and goals.

🔸 Tomasz Bednarczyk closes with this:

Companies decide to rebrand mainly because of changes in business strategy, a need to repair their image or a wish to adapt to new trends and consumer tastes. It is often also the result of introducing new products or services, of mergers, acquisitions or expansion into international markets.

A rebrand can help companies attract new customers and adapt to a changing business environment. Rebranding is a complex process that carries costs and risks. Companies have to weigh their goals and strategy carefully before making that decision, and consult marketing and branding experts to make sure the changes are carried out effectively and efficiently.

What is your take? When is a rebrand needed? 🤔
