How the day looks
- 01
The idea and the structure
Three seconds of opening, a promise, the body, the close. Why most company videos lose the viewer at the start.
- 02
Technika
Setting the frame, natural and artificial light, sound from a microphone instead of the phone, stabilisation.
- 03
We actually film
Every participant films their own material in the company, on their own phone, to a script written that morning.
- 04
Editing and subtitles
Cutting, pace, music, automatic subtitles and correcting them. We show you what not to do.
- 05
Launch
The caption, hashtags, thumbnail, publishing time, and what to check in the statistics after 48 hours.
A short-video workshop for companies that want to film for themselves
Not every company needs a film crew every month. Some material can be shot on a phone, provided someone on the team knows how to set the frame, where to find light and how not to ruin the sound. This workshop is meant to give exactly that: a repeatable, simple process that survives after we leave.
We teach from our own mistakes
We show material that did not work for us and explain why. We also show formats that worked beyond expectation — like MTB Modules’ answer to the hate aimed at modular houses, shot in the style of a series trailer, or the countertop manufacturer’s videos where the whole story is a stone slab’s journey from the hall to the customer’s kitchen.
Short-video training: frequently asked questions
Do we need our own equipment?
No. We practise on the participants’ phones, and we bring professional equipment to show where the line runs between filming on a phone and shooting with a camera.
Does it suit people who dislike being on camera?
Yes. We show formats with no faces: the process, the product, the detail, hands at work, shots from the hall. Some of our clients’ strongest videos contain not a single piece to camera.
Is there any material left after the workshop?
Yes: the filmed and edited videos, a checklist, subtitle templates and a publishing plan for the next month.
Can you film for us afterwards?
Yes, that is a common scenario. Your team films the day-to-day material, and once a month we arrive with a crew for the bigger productions.
